Banksy Graffiti Art. The world of Banksy
The exhibition showcases iconic pieces like “Girl with Balloon,” a poignant symbol of hope and loss, as well as politically charged murals such as “Rage, the Flower Thrower,” each reflecting Banksy’s trademark combination of irony, satire, and stark social commentary. Navigating the exhibition usually takes around 1.5 hours, though art enthusiasts may find themselves captivated for much longer.
We particularly recommend taking your time with “Devolved Parliament,” Banksy’s satirical masterpiece depicting chimpanzees in the UK Parliament, a powerful critique on politics and power dynamics. Experiencing Banksy’s artwork in such depth reveals layers of subtlety and wit, making each revisit uncover new interpretations. Moreover, don’t overlook the interactive multimedia presentations, designed cleverly to contextualize Banksy’s street art within the global socio-political landscape.
